Seriously, dude, you should lighten up a bit LOL Did you really think they were going for Oscar nominations w/this movie? Also, sorry you didn't have the pieces of the plot weren't explictily spelled out and you were required to do a little thinking and deductive reasoning. Did you really need to know anything more than Kastle used Tillman to kill his friend in order to cover up the shady side of what he was doing with his nanotechnology? I don't consider myself much more than an average movie goer and I saw where the drunk thing was goin'. It's a good movie...not as good as some, but a helluva lot better than others I've seen this year (Harry Potter comes to mind). and the kicker is, it gets better everytime you see it. Add Gerard Butler to the mix and it was downright awesome! Truthfully, as long as GB plays to his fans outside of his movies, nothing he ever does will ever truly be a huge loss for him. The ladies LOVE GB:)

The Final Destination last week, then Gamer and this back-to-back. I think you might need a hug, or something letting you know things'll be okay. I don't think I've ever seen you give a multitude of flicks a sub 5/10 rating this close together. Maybe you should avoid Halloween 2. Give yourself a break for a bit.

Wannabes are not asked by others to participate. You were ASKED to play roles in films. You were ASKED to write for those websites you listed. You were ASKED to draw pictures for people for $5.00 a pop. Those people didn't do that, and don't continue to do that, to humor you. They want to see what you can do in front of the camera. They want to read what you have to say about films. They want to view whatever kind of drawing you can make given a brief description. Most importantly, they're confident enough in your ability to do all of those things that they want others to see you do it as well. They don't do it BECAUSE they're your friends. They do it because they like what you can do. The only difference between you and others who consider themselves whatever you want to be, paycheck aside, is exposure. They have readers, viewers, fans because they do it consistently, and would continue to pursue even when others say they're bad at it. They like to do it, and so they do it. If you like to do it do it. To hell with outside perception.

You're an enjoyable presence. I don't watch what you're in, read what you write, and look at what you draw because I'm your friend, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that. I (we) do it because I like what you do, when you do it.

If what you want is approval by others who do what you would want to do I can't offer that. However, I can say that I'm genuinely entertained by what you do. And I'm not saying that as a friend.

Yessss! Excellent! I hope they get a solid cast in there, as Paxton could potentially do a fine job.
Mister Weed-Eater is also being prepped for the big screen. Joe is not writing it, but it appears he's in there in some collaborative way.

Steve:

Seriously, I understand the point you're trying to make concerning whitebread movie-making that doesn't acknowledge the differences in our culture, but the point really feels wasted on a sci-fi B-movie like Knowing.
